Marna Lee Beneke

Marna Lee Beneke, age 91, of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 11, 1934 in West Alexandria to the late Robert and Mary Barton.

Marna graduated from Lanier High School in 1952; she worked at Peffly Ford in Dayton as a payroll clerk for 22 years and later retired from Equitable Axa Advisors in Kettering. She was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church in Ingomar.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Paul Beneke of West Alexandria; son Jeff (Sharon) Beneke of West Alexandria; grandsons Jamie (Dianna) Beneke of Eaton and Adam (Amanda) Beneke of West Alexandria; and great grandchildren Jake, Wyatt and Zoey Beneke of Eaton and Joslynn and Jace Beneke of West Alexandria.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at St. John Lutheran Church, 2139 Enterprise Road, West Alexandria, OH 45381 with Pastor Bill Schilling officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria. Gard Funeral Home, West Alexandria is assisting with arrangements.
