Mary Elizabeth Rieker

Mary Elizabeth Rieker, age 86 of Eaton, OH, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Brookdale Place, Englewood, OH. She was a graduate of Eaton High School; and was formerly employed as an instructor at PJ’s Beauty College in Richmond, IN and the Midwest City Beauty College in Midwest City, OK. She was a talented pianist, seamstress and loved working with stain-glass. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Melvin Rieker; daughter Barbara Mary Rieker; and numerous sisters and a brother. She is survived by her daughter Beverly Jean Miller of Eaton, OH; sons Robert Earl Rieker of Greshim, OR and Edward Charles Rieker of Atlanta, GA; grandsons Thomas Rieker of Dayton, OH and Tony Rieker of Portland, OR; and granddaughter Amy Rieker of Atlanta, GA. Friends will be received on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 12:30 p.m. until time of funeral services at 1:30 p.m. at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Burial will follow in the Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
