Mona Kaye Lee

Mona Kaye Lee, age 81, of West Manchester, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 6, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at Reid Hospital in Richmond.  She was born July 4, 1940 in Dayton to the late Gerald and Hilda (Furrey) Curtis.  Mona was a 1958 graduate of Eaton High School; she attended both West Manchester and Eldorado United Methodist Churches; enjoyed making crafts; and was an avid football, NASCAR, and Cincinnati Reds fan.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren.  She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clark Lee of West Manchester; sons Darren (Jodi) Lee and Derek (Kari Jo) Lee both of West Manchester; daughter Dana (Bill) Jackson of Monroe, WA; grandchildren: Rachelle Lee, Danielle (Jason) Dues, Kayla Lee, Josh Lee, Ariel Lee, Zoey Lee, Lindsay (Zack) Hoffman, Nick Carpenter, Lily Carpenter and Thomas Carpenter; great grandchildren: Harper Clifton, Harlan Dues, Gracelyn Dues, Wells Dues, Emilia Hoffman and Aelin Hoffman; sisters Sharon Ann (Jan) Spitler and Gail (Barry) Benningfield; and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 5:00 pm until time of funeral service at 7:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Terry Campbell officiating.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the Susan G.
