Norma J. Day

Norma J. Day, age 82, of West Alexandria, OH passed away May 31, 2025 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 2, 1943 in Richmond, IN to the late Stanley and Grace (Caskey) Webb.

Norma loved being outdoors, tending to her garden and spending time with family; her favorite seasons were spring and summer; and she loved camping and fishing. She was affectionately known by the family as “Nanny”, a name that began with her beloved grandchildren. She was an avid euchre player and could beat just about anyone in the family. She worked for Dr. Scott Vosler as a receptionist for over 10 years, and was an excellent homemaker, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by 5 siblings; her parents-in-law Marion and Edith Day; and sisters-in-law Judith A. Day and Londa Day; and brother-in-law Jim Retherford. She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Dan Day, Sr. of West Alexandria; children Dan (Debbie) Day, Jr. of West Alexandria and Tammy (Scott) Vosler of Eaton; grandchildren Matt Vosler, Sean (Victoria) Vosler, Adam (Stacie) Day, Jenna (Jonathan) McGraner; great-grandchildren Renly Vosler, Theo Vosler, Liam McGraner and Lucas McGraner; sisters Evelyn Hessley of Geneva, OH and Pat Smith of Wichita, KS; brother Larry Webb of Richmond, IN; sister-in-law Dorothy Retherford of Eaton; brothers-in-law Darrel Day, Marion Day, Jr. and Sewell Day, all of West Alexandria; and numerous nieces, nephews and a large supportive family.
