Patrick A. Decker

Patrick A. Decker, age 64, of Eaton, OH passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Vancrest of Eaton Health Care Center.  He was born February 25, 1957 in Dayton, OH to the late Donald E. and Lois (Spitler) Decker.  He was a 1975 graduate of Eaton High School; and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in West Alexandria, OH.  He was also an avid golfer, was a Cincinnati Reds, University of Dayton Flyers and all types of sports fan, and enjoyed music.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Terry Decker.  He is survived by his son Spencer (Wendy) Decker of Eaton, OH; daughter Amber (Brandon) Warner of Eaton, OH; grandchildren Derek, Emma, Zac and Max; brother Mike (Jane) Decker of Mt. Sterling, KY; sisters Bonnie (Jim) Isaraeloff of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Donna Jean (Joe) Laird of Eaton, OH and Katie (Victor) Sheard of Eaton, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews and close friends.  A Celebration of Patrick’s life will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the Humane Society of Preble County, PO Box 72, Eaton, OH 45320.  Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent to the family by visiting www.gsbfuneralhome.com.
