Polly A. Switzer Voge, age 89, of Englewood, OH and formerly of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022. She was born April 9, 1933 in Rockcastle County, KY to the late Richard and Ida Mae (Cain) Anglin. Polly graduated from Livingston High School in Kentucky, earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Kentucky University and her Master’s Degree from University of Dayton. She retired as a school teacher from Dayton Public Schools. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in West Alexandria; and Order of Eastern Star, Farmersville Chapter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Albert E. Switzer in 1991; second husband Emerson Voge in 2019; several brothers and one stepsister. She is survived by her daughters Sheryl (John) Berger and Clara Wienhoff; grand-daughters Courtney (Jordan) Kegler and Caitlyn (Travis) Tibbs; great grandchildren Maya Kegler and Elijah Kegler and expected great grandchild Liliana Tibbs in June; brother Mose Anglin; stepsons Frederick Voge and Roger (Rebekah) Voge and their families; stepdaughters Deborah (Greg) Cress-Moore and Marcia (Daniel) Reke and their families; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:30 am at Salem Lutheran Church, 70 E. Dayton St., West Alexandria, Ohio with Pastor Dan Mershon officiating. Burial will follow at Hillgrove Cemetery in Miamisburg, OH.
