Becky saved me from a horrible situation when I was a teen. She was always my lighthouse. When the waves of life caused me to drift too far, I could always find her shining smile, along with one of those "I told you so"! In 33 years, I never told her. I never told her just how much I appreciated and loved her. As Buddha would say, "the trouble is you think you have time." Thank you Becky for everything.

John Shock I am deeply sad to learn of the passage of Becky. I was privileged and honored to work with her in the late 1970's. She was a true professional and a great attorney. I considered her a friend and therefore a personal loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Becky's passing. We became friends with the Wicks when we both had young families. With both Becky and my husband, John, being prosecutors, every year we would meet up at Cedar Point, or King's Island for fun at the prosecutor's summer convention. One year, when our son, Nick, was around 10, Becky went on a ride with him. We could see the whole thing from below. This ship would "sail" back and forth getting higher and higher. Nick started laughing which got Becky going. They laughed the whole ride! They were so cute! Daniel, you were right, the picture of her here shows how beautiful she was inside and out. Love to you and Alex.

Becky was a multi-faceted gem! In the courtroom, as the Prosecuting Attorney, she was relentless in making sure the bad guys were taken off Preble County's streets. But in her private life, she was a push-over for kitties and dogs and anything living that needed tending -- plants, animals and humans. Becky has been an honorary member of our family for more than forty years, and we will miss her keen wit and unconditional friendship. She was one of a kind and her passing is not only a huge loss to her family and friends, but to all of Preble County. Godspeed, my friend, and the next time I hear thunder rumbling, I will know that you and my sister Toni have connected and are having heavenly belly laughs.
