Richard Paul Bricker

Richard Paul Bricker, age 71 of Eaton, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center with his loving wife by his side. He was born January 25, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Pauline Jean Gavin.  Rich was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School and the University of Toledo. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  He retired with 35 years in public education serving as teacher, coach, and administrator.  He is survived by his wife of 26 years Shari Bricker, and daughter Carly Bricker of Eaton, OH; his sister Libbey Flynn and nephew, Ryan Flynn of Tampa, FL; nephew Jim Flynn and niece Mary Flynn of Denver CO, and numerous other family members and friends.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cameron Bricker, and brother, David Gavin.  A private memorial service will be held at a further date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to XP Family Support Group 10259 Atlantis Drive, Elk Grove, California 95624.  An online contribution may also be made to the XP Family Support Group in memory of Rich at www.xpfamilysupport.org.  Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent to the family by visiting www.gsbfuneralhome.com.
