Robert E. "Bobby" Beams

Robert E. “Bobby” Beams, age 78, of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, OH. He was born October 14, 1943 in West Alexandria, OH to the late Jess and Erma Beams. Bobby retired from ODOT in West Alexandria, OH; and was also a member of the American Legion #322, West Alexandria, OH and the F.O.E in Eaton, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Linda L. Beams in 1999 and brother John H. Beams. He is survived by his son Ralph (Connie) Beams of Eaton, OH; daughter Cindy (Art) Erk of Richmond, IN; a grandson, Aaron Bartlett of Eaton, OH; great-granddaughter, Bostyn Bartlett; sisters, Betty Weatherly of Eaton, OH and Thelma of Florida; brother, Charlie Beams of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 12 Noon until time of funeral service at 2:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home (formerly Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home), 67 West Dayton Street, West Alexandria, OH. I'm sorry to hear of Bobby's passing and offer my sympathy to his family. I'll always remember Bobby introducing me to his beloved bluegrass music while we drove all over the county working for ODOT.

I'll never forget the time's when we were younger, When Thanksgiving came you would come pick us up in Camden, to go spend Thanksgiving with you & Aunt Linda, Ralph & Cindy, I always couldn't wait to spend time with you all, The house always smelled so good, Those are the Memories I always Treasured,
