Robert Eugene Blair

Robert Eugene Blair, age 86, of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. He was born June 21, 1939 in Middletown, OH to the late Eddie and Edith (Frye) Blair.

Bob was a 1957 graduate of Frenchburg High School in Frenchburg, KY. He was a longtime union electrician with Local #82 in Dayton, OH. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed woodworking, and was a great fan of college basketball, especially the Kentucky Wildcats.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers James Blair and Harry Blair; and sister Dorothy Sauers.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Geneva Blair; sons Jim (Donna) Blair, Doug (Debra) Blair and Rodney (Tracey) Blair; grandchildren Jessica (Tom) Donaldson, Elizabeth (Bryan) Kolonis, Joshua (Rylee) Blair, Madison (Cameron) Mathis and Kasey Blair (Allison Bassler); great grandchildren Brycen Donaldson, Kaylin Donaldson, Isaiah Kolonis, Aubrey Kolonis, Dovie Blair; numerous nieces and nephews; and special dog Sadie.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service at 2:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home, 67 West Dayton Street, West Alexandria, OH with Pastor Dustin Vorhis officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Farmersville First Baptist Church, 334 A N. Elm Street, Farmersville OH, 45325.
