Robert “Biggin” Harbaum, age 57, of Eaton, OH passed away November 16, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton after a sudden illness. He was born December 13, 1964 to the late Robert and Jenneva Harbaum in Hamilton, OH. Rob had a passion for cooking and was the general manager of the Eaton Papa Johns. Outside of his love for cooking, his second passion was riding his Harley and traveling with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Harbaum in 2002 and Jenneva Harbaum in May of this year; paternal grandparents Benjamin and Malda Harbaum; and maternal grandparents Earl and Freedia Hart. Robert is survived by the three children that he raised as his own: Cindy (Chris) Skwarczynski and their children, James Webb and Jaxon Strunk; brother, Ken (Angel) Harbaum of Dayton; sister Jackie (Eric) Steiner of Eaton; brother Mike Harbaum of Eaton; and Rob’s girlfriend, Robin Guernsey; a multitude of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins who loved their “Uncle Robbie” dearly; as well as very best friends, Pat Caylor, Tracy Caylor, Ernie Hatmaker, Big John Sachs, his Baltimore friends and countless more friends that were important in his life. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH. Funeral service for Robert will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens in West Alexandria with an extended processional to commemorate all of Rob’s favorite riding places.
