Robert L. "Bob" Quick

Robert L. “Bob” Quick, 88, of Eaton, OH passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. He was born June 24, 1937 in Hamilton, OH to the late John Wesley and Mattie Victoria (Mink) Quick.

Bob was a 1954 graduate of Seven Mile High School, earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Maryland and his Master’s Degree from The Ohio State University. He was a U.S. Army Veteran that served during the Vietnam War, retiring from the military in 1980. He was a true Ohio and American native, who dearly loved where he was from. He cared for many people, including people that became family simply because he welcomed them; was an avid animal lover; and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Evelyn Quick; brothers John II, James, Joe and Don Quick; and sisters Betty Baum, Virginia Manzie, Eleanor Macko, Sandra Isaacs and Mary Ann McMillian.

He is survived by his children Rhonda Quick and Robert (Aysemin) Quick Jr both of Eaton; granddaughter Emily D. Quick of Eaton; brother Fred Quick of Hamilton; numerous nieces and nephews; and special dog Phoebe.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at the First Southern Baptist Church, 35 N. Liberty Street, Camden, OH. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, OH. Gard Funeral Home Eaton is assisting with arrangements.
