Roy A. Kouts

Roy Allen Kouts, age 75, of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, OH surrounded by his family. He was born May 29, 1951 in Dayton, OH to the late Harold and Irene (Falldorf) Kouts.

Roy graduated from Twin Valley North High School in 1969 and then served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany. He worked for Delphi in Kettering as a tinner, retiring after many hard years of service; he enjoyed organizing a breakfast for his fellow retirees once a month, as well. Roy helped with many charity organizations over the years and was an avid supporter of 4H clubs in Preble County. He was also a member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church and the Eaton-Lewisburg Lion’s Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Albert Lockwood, Sr.

He is survived by his daughters Angela (Don) Cox of Lewisburg, OH, Tawny (Aaron) Cooper of Lewisburg and Lauren (James) Hilt of North Fort Myers, FL; 16 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother Larry Kouts of Kettering; sister Nancy Lockwood of New Madison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
