Samuel J. Moore

Samuel J. Moore, age 59, of Greenville, OH passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at his residence.  He was born November 17, 1963 in Dayton, OH.  He was a very talented hands-on person that enjoyed being around family; he loved Harley Davidson motorcycles; was a truck driver for several years; and enjoyed having a good time.  He was preceded in death by his father Hugh Daniel Moore; mother and stepfather Mary Ann and Ozro D. Studebaker; and brother Hugh Moore, Jr.  He is survived by his son Sam (Jyl) Moore; grandchildren: Samuel Moore and Lily Moore; sister Carinna (Darrell) Denlinger; nieces Abby (Justin) Ashbaugh, Amy (Chad) Langdon and Angela (Nathaniel) Venrick; and numerous other family members.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Wares Chapel Cemetery in West Manchester, OH.  Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Eaton is assisting with arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Miami County, 3230 North County Road 25 A, Troy, OH 45373.  Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent to the family by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com.
