Sandra "Sue" Green

Sandra “Sue” Green, age 79, of Eaton, OH passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. She was born December 18, 1945 in Zanesville, OH to the late Charles and Lydia Allen. Sue was a graduate of New Concord High School in New Concord, OH. She was a member of the New Hope Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #1108, Richmond, IN. Sue and Jim dedicated their lives to caring for their daughter, loving Renee so well that she lived more than three times as long as the doctors had expected she would live. Renee was Sue’s whole life, and Renee was deeply missed when she died. Sue enjoyed a good joke and could give some “zingers” back. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Green; daughter Jean Renee Green; brothers Donald “Don Eddy” Allen and James “Jeff” Allen; and sister Karen Rader. She is survived by her nieces Kimber (Kevin) Klingman and Karen Michele “Chele” (Jerry) Gandy; nephew Terry Lowe; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; fur nephew “Cash”; brother Bill Allen; sister-in-law Carolyn Green and nephew Tim Green; special family friend Danny Gehron; and many cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 10:30 am until time of funeral service at 11:30 am at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Chaplain David Daniels officiating.
