Sharon M. Staley

Sharon M. Staley, age 68, of Oxford, OH and formerly of Preble County, OH passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at McCullough-Hyde Hospital in Oxford. She was born February 26, 1949 in Dayton, OH. Sharon was a 1967 graduate of Twin Valley High School; was a member of the Eaton First Church of the Nazarene; and worked for many years as an Executive Secretary at N.C.R. and several other businesses. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Marie (Carter) Brower; husband Ray Staley; and former husband Danny Abner. She is survived by her father Hervey Berry of Eaton; daughters Shellee Abner of Eaton and Sarah Abner of St. Petersburg, FL; grandsons Sydnee and Seth Kosak; brother Boyd (Peggy) Berry of Michigan; sisters Ruth (Jack) Houser of Eaton and Bonnie (Pete Lara) Berry of Gig Harbor, WA; aunts Bertha Oliver and Betty Berry; and three nephews and several cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 9:30 am until time of funeral service at 10:30 am at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Jim High officiating.
