Shelby Hobbs

HOBBS, Shelby L., age 81 of Brookville, OH. passed away suddenly Sat. Dec. 24, 2016.  He was born in Lynn, KY. on April 10, 1935 to Clayton and Versie Hobbs.  He had been the owner of 3-H Asphalt Company for 22 years and prior to that had worked for Dayton Press for 27 years.  He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Caroll Hobbs, 2 sons, Greg Hobbs, Waynesvile, OH., Jerry (April) Hobbs, and daughter, Cathy Busse, of Brookville, OH., 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brother, Grover Hobbs, Eaton, OH., sister, Wanda Mills, Celina, OH.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Wayne Hobbs, Cecil Hobbs,  and 2 sisters, Norma Winkleman and Phyllis Schrieber.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thurs. Dec. 29, 2016 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, OH. with Rev.
