Stephanie Sue Burnett

Stephanie Sue Burnett, age 84, of Germantown, OH passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Vancrest of Eaton Health Care Center.  She was born October 7, 1936 in Middletown, OH to the late Steven and Emma Jean (Morgan) Kalnai.  She was a member of the First Brethren Church, Gratis, OH; and she taught second grade for several years at Gratis and Valley View Schools.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters Sigrid Minge and Helen Myers; and daughter-in-law Trudy Burnett.  She is survived by her husband of 61 years, David Burnett of Germantown; son Martin (Lydia) Burnett of Eaton; son Brian Burnett of Middletown; son Steve Burnett of Farmersville; grandchildren: Keith (Alison) Burnett, April (Zach) Kirby, Kayla (Kevin) McConnell, Todd (Jessica) Smith; great grandchildren: Ian Roberts, Luke McConnell, Katheryn McConnell, Elizabeth McConnell, Patrick McConnell, Charlie Fae Kirby, Jaxon Smith and Addison Smith; sister Kristy Moore of Kettering, Louise (Bob) Tewart of Trenton and Millie (Bob) Bretland of Monroe; brothers John (Sue) Kalnai of Trenton and Dave (Sandy) Kalnai of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 113 South Ada Doty Street, Gratis, OH with Pastor Bob Shannon officiating.  Burial will follow at Twin Valley Cemetery in West Alexandria, OH.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Dayton or the First Brethren Church, Gratis.  Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent by visiting www.lindloffzimmerman.com
