Sue A. McKee, age 83, of Eaton, OH passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. She was born June 22, 1942 in Pontiac, MI to the late Paul and Hazel (Landsford) Vancil.
Sue was a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Waterford Township, MI. She was a brilliant seamstress, and embroidered high school Letterman’s jackets in Clarkston, MI. She was an excellent baker, cake decorator and homemaker. She approached each day with a loving kindness and zest for life that’s rarely seen.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband John R. McKee; and son Scott S. McKee, Sr.
She is survived by her son Timothy J. (Christine) McKee of Eaton; grandchildren Scott S. (Ashley) McKee, Jr. of Macomb Township, MI, Erika (Justin) Chrispen of Shelby Charter Township, MI, Paul McKee of Eaton, OH, and Joseph McKee of Eaton, OH; great grandchildren Alison McKee, Aria Chrispen and Zander McKee; brother Bill (Nancy) Vancil of Portage, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Community Presbyterian Church, 4301 Monroe Avenue, Waterford, MI 48329 with a luncheon to follow. A committal graveside service will then be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 22nd at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, 621 W Long Lake Road, Troy, MI 48098.
