Sue C. Rainey

Sue C. Rainey, age 68, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at her residence. She was born July 31, 1953 in Union City, OH to the late Robert and Pauline (Winterrowd) Coppock. Sue was a 1971 graduate of Ansonia High School; was retired from U.S. Bank after 30 years of employment; was a very active member of the Eaton United Methodist Church; and volunteered several years for the Habitat for Humanity. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter Emily Rainey in 1990. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Larry Rainey of Eaton, OH; daughter Sarah Rainey of West Chester, OH; sister Paula (Dennis) Moody of Greenville, OH; niece Ashley (David) Gilpin of Arcanum, OH; nephew Robby (Ashley) Moody of Ansonia, OH; and grand-dog Moseley. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:30 am at the Eaton United Methodist Church, 120 N. Maple St., Eaton, OH with Pastor John Richards officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Twp. Memorial Gardens. Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
