Terry L. Dowlar

Terry L. Dowlar, 70, passed away on October 27, 2020 while in hospice care in Gulfport, MS. He was born on July 29, 1951 to the late Donald E. and Martha L. (Sheffer) Dowlar.  In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald L. Dowlar and his maternal aunt, Alice (Sheffer) Ewing, cousins, Clifford Eugene Ewing, Grace Alice (Ewing) Shock and Marian D. (Ewing) Kramer. Terry grew up in Eaton, OH, was a member of the Eaton High School class of 1967, attended Miami University.  He worked for the Ohio State Treasurer’s Office in Columbus from 1971-1978 until he moved to Naples, Fl.  In 2018, he moved to Gulfport, MS. In recent years, Terry dealt with polycythemia vera, hemochromatosis, liver cancer and ultimately brain cancer.  Keeping with Terry’s wishes, no funeral will be held.  His ashes will be buried beside his parents in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio.
