Thomas H. Kline, age 93, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Vancrest of Eaton Health Care Center. He was born on September 29, 1931 in Richmond, IN to the late George “Rossman” and Marion (Highland) Kline. He was a graduate of Eaton High School and earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture Degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1955. He served in the First Infantry Division of the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. He worked as an Architect from 1957 to 2007. He was a member of the Preble County Historical Society, the Humane Society of Preble County, Past President of the Eaton Jaycees; member of the Eaton Community Swimming Association, served on the Appeals and Zoning Boards for the City of Eaton; and was a member and served as an Elder of the First Presbyterian Church in Eaton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Julie and Dana Loomis of Willoughby, OH and cousin Edward “Ellis” Frank of Dayton, OH. He is survived by his wife Diane M. Kline of Eaton; daughter Jennifer L. Kline of Eaton; and son Michael T. Kline of Chicago, IL; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Annie Melick officiating.
