Thomas L. Waymire

Thomas L. Waymire, age 80, of Eaton, OH passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton. He was born December 20, 1945 in Dayton to the late Donald and Sarah (Rike) Waymire. 

Thomas worked for Barnett's Mill, 28 years for Brown Transport, and 25 years for Emerson Electric which he retired from. He loved his semi truck and enjoyed drag racing.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Donald, Richard and Tim Waymire; nieces Dawn Waymire Jimenez, Cheryl Waymire and Angie Waymire; and nephew Randy Waymire.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sue Waymire; son Jim Waymire; stepson Albert Feix; sister Connie Johnson; grandsons Corbin Waymire and Jake Renner; granddaughters Nicole and Sarah; and great grandchildren Jolene, Oliver, Cooper, Ariel and Ike. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 11:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Kenny Henderson officiating.
