Timothy F. Balzer

Timothy F. Balzer, age 66, of Franklin, OH passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026 at his residence. He was born May 13, 1960 in Dayton, OH.

Tim worked 33 years as an aircraft mechanic, with the last 14 years at Air Transport International in Wilmington, OH. His love for aviation enabled him to travel to accept contract jobs throughout the United States and the countries of Bahrain, Germany and Canada. His hobbies included going to the United States Air Force Museum and Dayton Air Show; and he enjoyed spending time on the patio with his dogs.

He was preceded by his father Raymond (Emily) Balzer and mother Elaine (Jim) Replogle.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Cindy Balzer of Franklin; son Tim (Jen) Balzer of Loveland; grandson Arthur Balzer of Loveland; daughter Kristin (Logan) Jones of Morrow; stepchildren Bradley Fletcher of Middletown, Katie Fletcher of Franklin and Todd Fletcher of Franklin; and stepbrother Tom (Terri) Replogle of Newport, NC.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Visitation will also be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden.
