Timothy G. Karns

Timothy G. Karns, age 75, of West Alexandria, OH passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 at Sycamore Hospital in Dayton, OH.  He was born February 13, 1944 in Richmond, IN to the late Harold Karns and Esther (Shank) Karns Childers.  Timothy was a 1962 graduate of West Alexandria High School.  He retired after 35 years of employment from McCauley Propeller Division of Cessna Aircraft.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his nephews Rodney Karns and Randy Karns.  He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy (Shade) Karns; son Jim (Debi) Karns; daughter Kelly (Bettina) LeMasters; three grandchildren: James, Harry, and Danielle Karns; brothers Terry (Sandra) Karns, Tom (Caren) Karns; and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 11:00 am until time of memorial service at 12:00 noon at the Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 67 West Dayton Street, West Alexandria, OH with Pastor Gary Wood officiating.  Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.  Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.lindloff-zimmerman.com.
