Vera Maxine Bruns

Vera Maxine Bruns, age 88, of Johnson City, TN and formerly of Preble County passed away on January 12, 2024.  She was born February 16, 1935 in Preble County, OH to the late Clarence and Sadie McKee.  Vera was a LPN and retired from Parker Hannifin Corporation in Eaton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and a sister.  She is survived by her children: Deborah Davis, Kelly (John) Opry, Christopher Bruns and Tina (Eric) Myers; 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brothers Don McKee and Larry McKee and Virgil McKee; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Mound Hill Cemetery (new section) in Eaton, OH.  Gard Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Eaton, OH are assisting with arrangements.  Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com.
