Victoria Elaine Swindell

Victoria Elaine Swindell, age 81, of Eaton, OH passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Maple Gardens Rehab and Nursing Center in Eaton. She was born June 26, 1944 in New Castle, IN.

Victoria enjoyed her daily coffee and never left without her coffee cup; she never met a stranger; always tried to make people laugh; and enjoyed doing word search puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother and father Rosemary and Harry Smith; and her sister Harriett B. Smith.

She is survived by her daughter Heidi Ballinger of Eldorado; granddaughter Cheyenne Smith of Eldorado; grandson Clayton Smith (Lacy Reece) of Eldorado; great grandson Randy Smith of Eldorado; brother Richard (Marilyn) Smith of West Chester, OH; and several nieces and cousins.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date, where she will be laid to rest with her grandparents at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City, IN. Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Eaton, OH is assisting with arrangements.
