I am grateful to have had such a wonderful Uncle. There are so many memories of times spent with him and Aunt Marilyn. Every time I saw him he was smiling and truly happy to see me. I will treasure the furniture he made me. Your niece, Jennifer Hamilton Owens.

I remember Bill from: Hunting rabbits on Dads farm. Bringing Charlie and I rabbits to raise. We had rabbits everywhere. Bringing Charlie and I fireworks to blow up. We still have our fingers. Taking Charlie and I to see Bambi. He had to stop several times before he got down the laneway to help pull Dad out of a mudhole in a field Dad was plowing. Shooting arrows at balloons in Bills archery booth at the Preble County Fair. Running the Archery Shop out of the back corner of his house. Having a DP&L truck parked at his house. Burning off his eyebrows from a furnace blowing up in his face. The births of Becky and David. Opening his house and heart to a foster a child named Rita. Installing wallpaper. Making picnic tables and porch swings. Building a stone wall. Growing & selling pumpkins. Cooking pizzas on his gas grill. Loving to watch westerns. Playing pinochle. Growing orchids on the lanai (back porch). Picking oranges and grapefruit and sharing with everyone. Caring for widows in need. Having a smile showing he has mischief on his mind. Jim, the youngest brother

Uncle Bill lead a blessed life and was a blessing to our family. He was a craftman and requirerd that everything he made with his gifted hands to be perfect. He was a great Eucher player and it was tough to beat him, esspecially when mom was his partner! He had a great sense of humor and I will miss him. Until we meet again - so long Sir!
