I remember your family building the new house on East Ave. We went through the rooms each night as the concrete was poured and the studs for each of the rooms settled. We were the Pottenger family who lived in the big white farm house that the Johnson family had moved when they built the Chevrolet dealership. I still refer refer to your Grandparents and Great Aunt as Mrs. Harry and Mrs. Aja...I moved away when I was 10 but still 56 years later I remember your mom as someone very pretty and somewhat glamorous. My parents, Mark and Virginia, enjoyed having your family as neighbors. I remember thinking it was cool that we had houses near us instead of the cows and the corn. My father passed away at 102 two years ago so he was a link to Eaton for me when I had a question about the past...This note may seem bizarre but its meant to let you know that your family meant something to me that I still remember. I guess its that neighbors make a difference and your parents were great. Laura Pottenger Budich

Dear Melinda, Susan, Scott, and Family, I worked with your mother for many years and shared many laughs and teaching moments with her. Wilma was always a favorite with her students because of her kindness, compassion, and encouragement. She loved you all so much and was very proud of your accomplishments. I will always remember her beautiful smile! Sending you my deepest sympathy,
